"Trip Review: Ghaziabad to Himachal Pradesh with Orange Tree Travel Services – Namit Singh We recently returned from a memorable six-day trip organized by Orange Tree Travel Services, led by Mr. Namit Singh, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The itinerary covered some of the most beautiful and sought-after destinations in Himachal Pradesh, including Manali, Solang, Atal Tunnel, Sissu, Kasol, Manikaran, and Dharamshala. Day 1: Ghaziabad to Manali Our journey began with a comfortable drive from Ghaziabad to Manali. The car provided was in excellent condition—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The highlight of the journey was our driver, who was not only highly skilled but also extremely familiar with the terrain and all the key spots along the way. His experience made the long drive smooth and stress-free. Day 2: Manali Local Sightseeing After reaching Manali, we spent the day exploring the local attractions. From the bustling Mall Road to the serene Hidimba Devi Temple and the charming old Manali streets, we got to soak in the natural beauty and cultural vibe of the hill town. The hotel arranged for us in Manali was cozy, clean, and offered a great view of the mountains. Day 3: Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel, and Sissu This day was full of adventure and awe-inspiring sights. We headed to Solang Valley early in the morning where we enjoyed some fun activities and the crisp mountain air. Driving through the Atal Tunnel was an experience in itself—it’s truly an engineering marvel. We then reached Sissu, a picturesque village on the other side of the tunnel, where the views were simply breathtaking. Our driver navigated the hilly roads confidently and made sure we didn’t miss any scenic spots along the way. Day 4: Manali – Manikaran -Dharamshala We left Manali for a spiritual and scenic detour through Manikaran and Kasol. The hot springs and the Gurudwara at Manikaran added a peaceful touch to the journey, while Kasol was a pleasant place to relax and explore. After spending some time in these charming towns, we continued onward to Dharamshala. Though it was a long day of travel, the journey remained comfortable thanks to the vehicle and the driver’s steady driving. The contrast between the two towns was striking, and Dharamshala, with its spiritual and Tibetan influence, was a unique experience. Again, the hotel stay in Dharamshala was well-arranged and pleasant. Day 6: Dharamshala to Ghaziabad Our return journey was smooth and timely. Despite being the final leg of a long trip, we reached home without any fatigue, which speaks volumes about the overall comfort and planning. Final Thoughts Overall, the trip was very well organized. From logistics and transportation to accommodations and sightseeing, everything was handled efficiently. Special mention to the driver whose local knowledge, courteous behavior, and driving skills were outstanding. The hotels offered good food and hospitality, which made the entire journey more enjoyable for the whole family.
